The newly refurbished Occidental Atenea Mar**** Hotel in Barcelona has just been completed, and Grupo MCI participated lighting up the 191 rooms.

Perfect hotel room lighting should offer the guests the possibility to read, relax or work, if needed. To provide the indirect and high-performance illumination in the headboard of the bed and TV flexible strip Linear Flex® Plus 2700K were installed. Linear Flex® is very flexible and can be installed easily onto any surface. Its small size enables it to be seamlessly integrated into architectural spaces.

As a bedside light, GilaLED recessed wall fixtures were installed. GilaLED provides an innovative and user-friendly lighting concept. The elegant luminaire is made of white coated aluminium with modern LED technology. If needed, the lamp can be folded out and instead of the white glowing orientation light a powerful and pure white 3W Power LED will appear. The luminaire integrates a blue LED light in closed position.

A hotel is much more than a building to stay at, the light must be projected to create the appropriate atmosphere to the different needs of each area, offering the highest quality and visual comfort to its customers. LED technology provides lighting solutions that help create comfortable environments for guests, improve the environment where workers develop their activity and reduce energy consumption.

The urban hotel Occidental Atenea Mar**** is situated in an excellent location, just 150 m from the Nova Mar Bella beach, and a 15-minute walk from the Barcelona International Convention Centre. The hotel has a total of 191 spacious modern rooms, all of which are outward facing and bright, with views of the sea or the city.
