In 2014 Førde Town Hall, designed by Mestres Waage Architects and Nordplan, has inaugurated.

Førde Town Hall was one of five nominated projects for the Norwegian lighting prize 2014. They summarize the reason for the nomination: The light design has participated in creating a house for the people of Førde municipality and has been well received. The building is a landmark building and strengthens the sense of identity in Førde. The lighting design has been done by Roar Sande from Norconsult.

Grupo MCI was part of this project, lighting up the amphitheater stairs that connects the town hall with the river. Ground Liner® was the perfect lighting solution to highlight this area due to it provides continuous and linear lighting effect.

Ground Liner® made with aluminium body is a LED linear lighting fixture embedded in the ground and fully resined that offers a protection class IP 66/68, an impact resistance IK10.
